Mario
Facilitator & Founder
Mario, whose Shipibo name is Inunkea, is a 40-year-old Argentinian born and raised in Córdoba. With 17 years of experience in healing practices, his path has been one of deep dedication and surrender to ancestral wisdom.
After studying law and working for the Argentinian government, Mario felt a profound inner calling that led him to Mexico in 2008. There, his transformative journey with sacred shamanic traditions began. He spent six months living with the Mayas, learning about health and the inner cosmos, and participating in Peyote ceremonies in Chichén Itzá. Upon returning to Argentina, he chose to leave his career behind and embarked on a five-year pilgrimage through Peru, Brazil, and Ecuador to study healing rituals and plant medicines. During this time, he became a Temazcal facilitator, joined San Pedro/Wachuma and Ayahuasca ceremonies, and worked as a massage therapist.
In 2014, his passion for surfing brought him to Indonesia, where Balinese priests and community members shared their traditions with him. He deepened his massage practice, learned Sanskrit chanting, and studied exorcism practices.
Mario eventually settled in Costa Rica, where he has lived for over a decade. For two years, he immersed himself in the jungle, supporting Ayahuasca and other plant ceremonies at retreat centers before stepping into his own role as a facilitator. Today, he serves Ayahuasca, Peyote, San Pedro/Wachuma, Psilocybin Mushrooms, Rapé, and Changa with humility and devotion.
His path of learning continued during the pandemic, when he spent seven months in Russia. There, he studied Mongolian-style chanting and shamanic vocal sounds, learned to play the Japanese shakuhachi flute, and participated in tea ceremonies with Russian monks. He also cultivated a profound meditation practice, training his mind in focus and stillness for several hours each day.
The Amazon and the Shipibo tribe have been among his most important teachers in recent years. With their guidance, Mario received permission to open and close master plant dietas, deepening his connection to the spirits of the plants and their healing powers.
In 2025, Mario expanded his studies in India, where he immersed himself in the sacred practices of mantra chanting, traditional Indian instruments, and completed a Marma Ayurveda course, further enriching his path as a healer and guide.
